Hi, it’s the Jessop family! We will be your hosts on your hunt at 605 Rooster Hive. Our parents, Jeff and Harla purchased the ranch in 2006 and our dad Jeff is the fourth generation on this ranch. Jeff’s sustainable ranching practices created a wildlife paradise which led us to starting the pheasant hunting business in 2019, though Jeff has over 25 years of guiding experience.

Our focus for the ranch is holistic grasslands management. We’ve added water resources, shelterbelts and we strategically graze our cattle to enhance our grasslands. Jeff’s grazing management program includes frequent rotations to ensure the cattle receive nutrient rich grass while giving the land time to rest and regenerate. This improves our soil quality and in turn improves our grasslands. Our food plots, shelterbelts and grasslands provide excellent habitat and food sources for pheasants throughout the year.
